Program Description
Central Indiana Teen Challenge is a nonprofit residential organization. We are part of the network of care of Indiana Teen Challenge, Inc. CITC was originally named Indianapolis Teen Challenge. In July 1969, the need was recognized for the establishment of a residential program that could provide training while offering a sanctuary until new life habits could be established. Then in 1988 Indianapolis Teen Challenge, located at 10124 East 46th St. was able to house 10 girls and staff. In December 2001 a 10,500 sq. foot a former assisted living facility in Central Indiana became available. Indianapolis Teen Challenge moved to the facility and became Central Indiana Teen Challenge. The program founded in 1969 ministered to students between the ages of 18-25, but has since responded to the tremendous need among younger students of the 13-17 age range. We currently have students from all across the United States. CITC is accredited by Teen Challenge International
